NorthSound

NorthSound is a group comprised of unique individuals who enjoy getting together to hang out, build costumes, go to interesting places, attend events and many other things. The name comes from the geographic location from which we live, but we don't specifically all live within that area. Its not necessarily a dedicated group towards creation of costumes, but it does include that as one part of it. Many activities we do include craft nights, dinners, barbecues, and other activities.
Its a closed membership group which is a private invite only (i.e. we come to you with the invite).

The goal of NorthSound is to excel at being creative. We try to create in many different ways. Some of our members are artists and crafters, others are costume makers, others are into performance art.

New Expansion! Short-faced Head Pattern (PDF only at the moment) -- This head is a short-faced version that includes a generic shape for animals with shorter snouts such as a Housecat, Big cat, Rabbit, Seal, Otter, Red Panda, Puppy, Skunk or other short-faced creature depending on how you finish it with your ears, nose and markings! If your chosen animal has a shorter snout, this is the head pattern for you! It matches up with the original pattern to replace the head and snout pattern pieces.

There is a moderate to advanced skill level required to create this pattern, and it is not intended for beginners. If you have made a fullsuit before you should be able to put one of these guys together! IMPORTANT We have released the complete pattern for free, so please do not use it to make plushies for profit! This was a skit we presented at Rainfurrest 2008. Featuring Cathlamet the wolf, Klickitat the black bear and Kaleetan the polar bear. We made all of the costumes and almost all of the props (the blanket, basket and a few of the fish are the only exceptions).

This was a skit presented for Rainfurrest 2009. Featuring Klickitat, Beef Jerky, Brighton, Crunky and Scrambles. We made all the costumes and all the props, including the menu and the delicious braaaaaaains. Crunky the coyote was specifically turned into a permanent zombie-coyote for this skit.
